Yeasayer - Ambling Alp + Tight Rope (live)

These guys are painfully cool hipsters from Brooklyn and this track sounds like it comes straight from a corny 80’s film montage. They manage to walk the line pretty well however, as I find myself aghast at the amount of intentional corniness I keep letting slide when this album plays, “because it works”. I guess what matters in the end is that I’m enjoying it. It’s especially good with headphones.
