Woods - To Clean
Yet another Brooklyn band. Reminds me of Guided By Voices in a lot of ways. The lo-fi production quality of this album is really nice. At times it sounds like the audio is recorded from a set of boom box speakers. That sounds like a negative thing but it isn’t. I particularly like the sound of the guitar in contrast to the vocals. Lots of contained hermetic fuzz on a hot wire.
