Friendly Summer 2009 - Mix tape
I guess “playlist” would be more technically accurate, but for nostalgic reasons I prefer to say “mix tape”. I’ve gotten into the habit of making them for myself to kick off my summer vacations. Especially for road trips. I see it as a soundtrack for the occasion… and after summer passes I like that I can just pop it in to recall some of the moments associated with the music. So, this year Im going to upload my mix tape to share with everyone. So anyone interested please feel free to down load it by either clicking on the link below or the image above. :)

For the Record… 2009 in Retrospect - Compilation
Hello folks. It is about 3 hours and 15 minutes until the new year. To celebrate the occasion (and in hopes of making this a tradition) I uploaded a compilation of some of the music I’ve posted since I started For the Record… earlier this year. Basically it is just a round up limited to 20 songs that were tagged under “Good Tracks”.
So enjoy your family/friends/solitude, make a few resolutions, throw back a few drinks and forget all about it in the morning. Meanwhile, enjoy the music.
