Thee Oh Sees - Ghost in the Trees
These guys are a garage band from San Francisco. Was lucky to catch them Friday evening at Primavera Sound right after the Harlem (they were great) show. Thee Oh Sees was probably one of the best shows of the festival for me. They sounded raw and tight with a galloping rhythm balanced with authentic rock ‘n’ roll showmanship that immersed the crowd. Just look at the pictures (not from Primavera) above to see what I mean. A friend of mine mentioned that John Dwyer’s (the singer) stage presence reminded him of Tony Clifton!
